Instructions

Necklace

Cut a piece of tiger tail wire the length you want your necklace to be plus 2 inches (a 24” necklace works well). Secure one end of the wire to the magnet barrel clasp using a crimp tube, and stringing any excess portion of wire back through the first few beads.

String 2 round hematite beads and repeat the following patterns 5 times to achieve half of your necklace: 1 amethyst silver foil glass bead, 2 round hematite beads, 1 amethyst silver foil glass bead, 2 round hematite beads, 1 hematite swirl bead, 2 round hematite beads.

String the lobster clasp and finish the necklace by repeating the pattern in Step 2 in reverse, completing the necklace by securing the second end of the magnet barrel clasp in the same manner as in Step 1, cutting any excess wire.

Watch Face

String a 4 inch length of wire through the top (12:00) shank of the watch band. Center the wire and string 2 round hematite beads, 1 barrel-shaped silver foil glass bead, and 2 round hematite beads.

Bringing the two loose ends of wire together to one point, string them through a crimp tube, then through the loop of the round portion of the toggle clasp. Secure the toggle by returning the loose ends of the wire back through the crimp tube, pulling taut and crimping the crimp tube.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 on the other side of the necklace.

Select 4 topaz faceted glass beads and 4 amethyst faceted glass beads. After stringing a single bead to each individual head pin, form a wrapped loop and attach 4 dangles to each of the 2 jump rings. Attach one jump ring with dangles to each of the 2 round toggle clasps.

Watchband

Attach a lobster clasp to 5 inches of wire securing with a crimp tube.

String 1 round hematite bead, 1 silver foil glass bead, 1 round hematite bead, 1 hematite swirl bead, 1 round hematite bead, 1 silver foil glass bead, 1 round hematite bead, 1 silver foil glass bead, 1 round hematite bead.

Attach the straight bar portion of the toggle clasp to the wire with a crimp tube and secure.

This is a dual purpose necklace, functioning as a wrist watch or as an attractive necklace with a pendant. Wear the watch face as a pendant to the necklace by attaching the top toggle clasp of the watch face to the lobster clasp on the necklace. To wear as a wrist watch, attach the watch face to the watchband by connecting the two pieces together with the lobster clasp of the watchband.
