- 2 yards 20 gauge red wire
- Gütterman 36 assorted red beads 4 – 6mm
- 1 pair earring findings with ring opening
- EUROTOOL® wire cutters and needle nose pliers
Cut 1 yard of wire. With needle nose pliers twist a knot at one end.
Thread 18 assorted beads onto wire.
To begin, measure approximately 12” from the knotted end of wire. Slide one bead to this mark. Fold the wire over the bead and twist firmly for approximately ½”. Slide another bead to within approximately ½” of previous twist. Fold the wire around bead #2 and twist in the same way. Repeat this process to make several branches as illustrated. Retain the last bead for the top of the earring. Twist the wire around the last bead.
Thread the wires through the ring on the earring finding. Twist the wire around the previous twist back down to the last bead. Cut off any remaining excess wire. Pinch the ends of the wire together to secure.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the second earring.
