Materials:

Round-nose pliers
Chain-nose pliers
Wire cutters

Instructions:
1. Disconnect the larger links from the smaller links in the strand and reserve the two larger links.
2. Onto an eyepin slide 1 3mm amethyst round, an 8mm amethyst round and another 3mm amethyst round. Repeat to make two links.
3. Onto a headpin slide an 8mm amethyst teardrop and a 3mm amethyst round. Make a simple loop.
4. Onto an eyepin slide and 8mm amethyst round. Make a simple loop, ensuring the loops are perpendicular to one another.
5. Use the large link from step 1 along with the two links from step 2, and attach these links to the loops of the large link.
6. Open the 8mm jumpring and slide onto it the top loop of one link, the teardrop dangle, the second link and the 8mm link from step 4.
7. Make the following drops using headpins and making a simple loop:

• 1 teardrop (make two)
• 1 teardrop, 1 4mm iris, 1 3mm amethyst (make two)
• 1 teardrop 2 4mm iris, 1 3mm amethyst

8. Onto an eyepin slide 1 4mm iris, the shortest drop, 1 4mm iris the next longest drop, 1 4mm iris, the longest drop, 1 4mm iris, the second longest drop, 1 4mm iris, the shortest drop and  4mm iris. Trim and make a simple loop.
9. Use two 4mm jumprings to attach the loops of the eyepin fringe to the loops of the embellished link. Attach earwires.
10. Repeat steps 2-9 to create the second earring.
