You can use a heart disc cutter to make your own heart-shaped pendants, charms, dangles and more.
1. Place the steel blocks on a urethane pad and remove the center knob to lift off the top block.
2. Place a sheet of 20-gauge metal over the desired size heart. Replace the top block and knob, then place the proper size die inside the cut-out heart.
3. Use a brass hammer to strike the die. It takes several good whacks! You'll feel it when the die slips through the cut-out metal.
4. Remove the metal heart and use a hole punch to make a hanging hole.
On the show, I attached my heart pendant to the end of a piece of beading wire, then added beads to make a simple ornament.
