Bold Central Elements

Using Pendant Bails
Designed by Katie Hacker

Nothing dresses up a necklace like a big, bold pendant. Use pendant bails to enhance and refine your designs. There are a wide variety of bails to suit any style, with different ways of attaching them to your necklace.

Glue-on bails from Beadalon
Lightly sand the surface of the bail and the back of the cabochon. Glue the parts together using industrial strength adhesive like 2-part epoxy.

Pinch bails from TierraCast
Sand the surface lightly and glue to a cabochon or other pendant using industrial strength adhesive like 2-part epoxy.

Interchangeable bails from Alacarte Clasps
Attach your pendant to the loop on the bail. The back of the bail has a hinge so you can remove it from the necklace and put it on a different necklace.
