Leather cuff wrap bracelets from Leather Cord USA are a hot trend, whether you wear them blank or embellish them to suit your style.
Attach Rivets
Compression rivets are available in different sizes and metallic finishes and are very easy to use. You'll need a leather hole punch to fit the size of the rivet, along with a hammer and anvil or bench block. Measure and mark evenly spaced dots across the length of the bracelet. Place the rivet base extending from back to front through the bracelet, place the cap on top and strike it with a hammer to flatten. (If you have a rivet setting tool, you can use it to preserve the domed shape of the rivet.)
Add Knotted Cords
Macramé is a simple way to add some Bohemian style to your cuff. To make lacy square knots on each side of a focal element, center a 1-yard length of 1.5mm round cord under the cuff. Bring the ends to the front and tie a a square knot on the surface of the bracelet. Wrap the ends under the bracelet, then bring them back to the front to tie another square knot. Repeat for the length of the bracelet, then tie the last knot on the back of the bracelet and add a drop of glue.
Make a Sliding Beaded Ring
Choose your favorite colors of 4mm crystals and string alternating crystals and seed beads onto Beadalon beading wire. Pass the ends through opposite sides of a crimp bead, then crimp it to secure the ring. This would be a fun way to share your kids' birthstone colors! Add a metal ring with charms, a seed-beaded sleeve made from circular peyote stitch or other sliding elements to complete the look.
