To get started, pass the needle through eight beads. Form the beads into a circle by passing again through the first bead. Pass the needle through another bead and back through the bead on the opposite side of the circle. This forms the daisy shape. To make a simple chain, just add a few beads and then make another daisy. To make a connected daisy chain, pass the needle through another bead and through a bead on the first daisy. Complete another daisy. Continue in this manner until the chain is the desired length. You can use the same technique to add whimsical daisies to fabric.
